On September 8, the book launch of Beauty Through Broken Windows: Empowering Edmund Rice’s Vision Today took place at the Marino Institute of Education. The book features accounts from 18 people from a wide-range of backgrounds on how they experience Edmund Rice’s vision today.

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted every aspect of life in West Africa. In Sierra Leone, the pandemic widened the level of vulnerability among poverty-stricken households. The West Africa Area Mission Office with a grant from ERD supported 98 households with basic food items.
